There are a few occupations to choose from, dealing with the City and the School:
Paradox City Cop Captain:
If you're a city cop, you can either summon an NPC to duel someone (as if you had a NPC cop with you when you encountered someone), or duel them yourself. If you Summon an NPC (NEEDS ADMIN APPROVAL) then a staff member will either give you a NPC deck recipe or duel them for you. This class could become very useful in many ways to take down criminals, as a NPC could be taken down and you could still challenge that person yourself in the roleplay. When a NPC character is used, even if he/she wins the duel you will not gain any yen from their win.
- Earns an extra 100 yen per duel.(No matter the result)
- Earns 400 extra yen per win involving a criminal, 200 if regular duel.
-Must carry no more than 50 card in their main deck
-Can Summon one NPC with Admin permission per roleplay. This NPC will be a "Paradox City Cop"
- Must be at least 25-30+ years old
-Can Summon ACTUAL Paradox City Cop User, and if that user wins he gains the yen from that battle.
-Must be approved by Admin
Paradox City Cop:
The More normal sight, Paradox City Cops follow like a downgrade of their Captains. However, they're still quite useful and are able to become Captains themselves!
- Can be come a Captain after 50 wins.
- Can carry no more than 55 cards in their main deck
- Must be at least 20-25 years old
- Earn an extra 200 yen per duel 9 No matter the result)
- Earn an extra 50 yen per duel involving a criminal or regular duel if you win.
Student of Dust Wing Academy:
If you're a student, you're on the way to becoming a refined duelist. You go to Dust Wing Academy, and you are honing your skills while learning the tricks of the trade from Teachers and the sort. When Exams are held, you may get random prizes! Such as your or Admin choice of cards to give to you, or whatever the prize is of the Exam! Since Students are so valuable to this City since it keeps them straight-edge (most of the time), they are paid to go to school with a pretty penny. The government of Paradox City hopes to sway them to learning that good can pay.
- Must only carry 40 cards when on Dusk Wing Grounds
-Earn extra 300 yen per duel (No Matter the Result)
- Can Earn cards through exams, you may personal message a Mod or Admin if you wish to have a NPC Teacher or a Roeplay user's Teacher do the Exam with you. The End decision is decided by a staff member on how many cards or how much yen is earned from an exam.
- Must be 14-19 years old.
- If 14-15= Freshman, 16-17 sophmore, 18-19 junior or senior.
Dust-Wing Patrol Cop:
Patrol Cops for the campus, they are a force to mess with if they're alerted! Better stay low key!
- Earn an extra 140 yen per duel
- Earn extra 150 yen per regular duel win, extra 200 if against criminal
- Must be 19-30 years old.
- Can summon NPC Patrol Assistant to duel in his place once per roleplay; will gain no yen if NPC wins.
Dust Wing School Patrol Student:
A student that has been bestowed with the responsibility and honor of looking over his fellow students and keeping things in order. These students are refined duelist, as they are meant to watch over their fellow freshman/sophmore/junior/senior students.
-Earn 300 yen per duel ( No matter Result)
- Earn 100 yen if winning duel dealing with "keeping the peace" in any form.
- Must be 16-19 years old.
- Must have 40 cards in their deck while on Campus
- Is also a "Student" of the Academy
Teacher of Dusk Wing Academy:
A Teacher, well respected and well honed in his craft of dueling. Teachers make good paychecks as they area key to Paradox Cities social structure. Teachers are wanted to steer students to good paths and keep them from using the "Reality Guard" applied on every Duel Disk. Duel monsters can be used as a real life defense do to modern science, but some would see it as a weapon.
- Earn 400 yen per duel
- Must be 24-40 years old
- Must be approved by Admin
- Can host Exams/small events if approved by Admin.
Thief:
Perhaps the most diverse Occupation, it's surely a no brainer on what it's based around.
- Earn 120 yen from duel
- Earn 200 yen if win duel against any Cop or Patrol, that Cop or Patrol loses 200 yen. (Can win against NPC and still gain 200 yen)
- STEALING: ((WAGER POT EFFECT)) Your opponent selects 2 cards from your deck; you select 1 from theirs. Whoever wins gains all the cards.
UPDATE:22/2012 7:42AM- Hitman, Organization Head, Rich Kid Prodigy, Hero, Villain
Hitman:
A class set to be incredibly unique, paying well in the end usually no matter what. A Hitman with a good deck is in high demand
in this city. If someone wants a guy to duel for cards, your the guy. Maybe for life? For a price.
- For each hit, if it be card or for life via Reality Guard, the Hitman gains 500 yen.
- If for cards, extra 100 yen
- If for life, extra 1000 yen
- The lowest a Hitman can even be offered regarding life duels is 1000, and for each successful Kill his base price raises 500 yen.
Organization Head :
The head of a Organization, whatever it is is up to you completely. You must explain how your Organization came about in your History in a extra 5 minimum sentences to the base amount allowed for the history section. Be smart, persuade people to join, maybe offer them yen? You will be getting paid after all for more members! Explain with at least an extra 6 sentences to your base history amount on how you got the money to start your Organization.
- 1000 yen per win
- Extra 200 yen to "Organization Head" for each member recruited. EX: 20 members, 20x200= 4000 a week for you!
- Must have a clear goal
-Will get their own board
Rich Kid Prodigy :
A Rich Kid you are eh? Well, lets see what you do for fun Rich Kid.
- Extra 500 Yen per battle.
- Wager Match: Put up a max of 9000 yen; your opponent must be able to match your amount of yen. Winner gains all yen.
- Extra 500 yen per win
SUB-CLASS ABILITY (Must be approved by Admin before applying for in general; just explain exactly how it'll develop well
with the entire board. If you have an interesting idea for your character that can branch out to a storyline, show it. Not to say that everyone will just run around with these abilities, no no.)
Hero:
Always one around normally, isn't there? It's needed in times like Paradox City. It's mayhem in this city, stop these
evil doers! Extra 5 sentences to base.
- Can also be a Hero(Dusk Wing Academy Student/ Teach of Dus Wing Academy/Hero(When you're this, it mean's you're Hero(Hero), which just means you get double the same effect)/ Paradox City Cop or Cop Captain)
- Your second Occupation grants you it's effects along with your Hero effects.
- 700 yen per battle
- Can survive 3 Reality Guard Battles with "Heart of Gold" (After a Duel that you have lost that was a RG Duel, you roleplay the ending and add to it a golden flash from the center of your chest. This is the Heart of Gold, make it look flashy and legit.)
Villain :
A true evil genius, maybe just a insane one? Or maybe just a crazed killer. Whatever type of Villain you are, explain it well. All Villains have to write an extra 5 sentences to their base, and it must contain information related to whatever sin they committed to get them on the road to Darkness in the first place.
- Can also be a Villain ( Dusk Wing Academy Student/ Organization Head/ Thief/ Hitman)
- Your second Occupation grants you it's effects along with your Hero effects
- 700 yen per battle
- Can survive Reality Guard Battles with "The Darkness.." Must roleplay it out after the duel, and somewhere contain emitting a dark aoura
- Can get a survive back after 3 wins
