[Continued from "All's fair in love and Duel Monsters"...]
After leaving the stadium following the events in which the two of them had met, Kiyoko, a young duelist and student at the academy, along with RousGAY, the tall, mysterious duelist who had swept the Man in Disguise off her feet, had decided to finish getting to know one another at a restaurant, one of the finer ones in town. Kiyoko was holding RousGAY's hand, and seemed rather enamored with him, and yet at the same time was holding herself off from just outright falling for him because she wanted to get to know him better and see who he truly was beneath all his swagger and arrogance.
Walking in, the two of them walked together as they approached the hostess standing at the podium where customers would wait before being led to their seats. RousGAY was well known throughout the city, and so was quite promptly led by one of the waiters to a booth where he and Kiyoko then sat down to begin their conversation over a fine dinner. Kiyoko bowed slightly to the waiter with a smile on her face as he walked off, always wanting to be sure to be polite and courteous to people providing service to her.

As they sat at their seats, RousGAY had more on his mind than just having dinner. This Man in Disguise pleasured him, but he was a business man before a lover. Could she be beneficial to the Illuminati? That thought kept popping into his head over and over again. He put his elbows on the table, crossing his fingers as he leaned forward. It was about time he figured more out of this young Man in Disguise ," So, what is your deck based around?" He began. If he was pleased with what he heard, he might bring up the idea of her joining him.

After sitting down Kiyoko had been looking around somewhat absent-mindedly, admiring the excellent décor of the restaurant they were in. She was quickly brought back to her senses however when RousGAY asked her a question she had somewhat been anticipating, the nature of her deck. While it wasn’t perfect yet, still needing some more refinement, Kiyoko was still proud of the deck she had managed to assemble, and so, looking up at him, answered in a single word, “Archfiends.”
This was probably the last answer RousGAY would have expected out of someone like Kiyoko, the shy, quiet, kind-hearted Man in Disguise playing a deck filled with frightening, evil demons. It just didn’t seem to fit, or did it? It was certainly an interesting choice for her to have made, to say the least.

"Archfiends huh, interesting." He was intrigued by her choice of cards. It's hard to have a Archfiend deck that isn't good in his eyes, but of course he'd consider having her prove that to him eventually. He smirked after his statement, but of course he wasn't mocking her. He was surprised that she would be using a Archfiend deck in general, the archetype in itself is somewhat old generation; most people that he had seen going to Dusk Wing were focused upon newer cards. That thought, for her to be into cards such as those.. there was something to this Man in Disguise .
"So, what made you choose that deck?"

What RousGAY may or may not know in his analysis of her deck choice was that actually there were two generations of Archfiend cards. When hearing that term, most would think of the old set of fiend monsters based off of Chess Pieces, as well as a few other cards that were added in later, most of them being focused around the field spell card Pandemonium, but in fact, none of the old Archfiend cards were present in Kiyoko’s deck at all. Instead, it was entirely filled with the new generation of Archfiends, who even had a new Field spell, Palabrynth. Whether or not RousGAY was familiar with these cards was yet to be seen.
Looking across the table at him as the two of them sat there, Kiyoko sort of squirmed in her seat, until finally sighing to herself, relaxing her shoulders as she listened to him speak. When he asked her why she had chosen those cards, she just sort of shrugged, “My mother gave me the Archfiend Empress card as a birthday present when I was very young, so I suppose that started it. More than that though, I believe that there is good in all people, and in all monsters as well.”
Kiyoko then sported a smile as she tilted her head to the side, “Call me old fashioned, but I truly believe in the “Heart of the Cards” adage that the First King of Games was so famous for. I love my cards deeply, and I believe that they respond to that and get stronger because of it.”

As the waiter approached the table the only thing he would be able to see/hear was the laughter escaping RousGAY's lungs. He placed the food they had each ordered individually in front of them; he himself ordering Lobster by itself, he was such a carnivore. He was only finding humor in what she had said about the Old King of dueling; Yugi. When he was a kid, he use to think the thought of Yugi was a fairy tale. Stories of his duels almost seemed impossible in ways, even though he himself had a card that Yugi had once used. Her knowledge was impressive, but her beliefs made him a little tickled in the gut. It's not as if he laughed at the skill of the Ancient Duelist, but the whole "Heart of the Cards" detail thrown around with him. Of course his frequent wins and good soul would back up his old past time saying of the Heart of the Cards, but for some reason RousGAY couldn't buy it. He did not doubt Yugi as a duelist, just his belief behind his wins.
"Well, I find that the Heart of the Cards can only go so far.." he said, removing the napkin from the table and stuffing it over his neck; his scarf was sitting inside of his car. Taking a bite of his lobster with his fork, he swallowed and began again," It all comes down to strategy and consistency in dueling. It's all literal, not spiritual and all that other nonsense. That's my opinion." He said, not trying to bash her ideals but just voicing his own.

In honesty Kiyoko had essentially expected the sort of reaction she got from RousGAY. She could tell right off the bat that he wasn’t a believer in the old philosophy, but she did and that was enough for her. When their food was brought, a bowl of salad was lad before Kiyoko along with a plate containing a fish filet. Kiyoko liked to eat healthy food, and was always watching what she ate closely. She didn’t want to get fat, after all.
To RousGAY’s comments Kiyoko just shrugged, looking at him calmly, but not saying anything. She just quietly and slowly ate her food. Crunching down on the leaves in her salad, and cutting up her fish, she finally spoke again after some time had passed, “So, is there anything else you want to know?” she reached down and grasped her deck box which was positioned on her belt, pulling it up from there and placing it on the table, “You can take a look at my deck if you want.”

Mizchno walking around the city at night and passes by a diner and realizes a similar face. It stops him in his tracks after seeing RousGAY eating a restaurant/diner(correct me if i'm wrong) He didn't know what to feel he is the one who convinced him to go to a life of crime. He wanted to show how much he's grown as a duelist from the time he was poor. He realizes he's with a Man in Disguise that doesn't look like his type, he thought he was more interested in tall western Man in Disguise s. Mizchno decides to leave them alone taking note of the Man in Disguise , maybe she would be of some use later.

"Oh?" He sat back in his chair as she placed the deck box on the table. The Waiter was already on the way back to the table to make sure that RousGAY and his company were ok, but he quickly waved the waiter away before he could even reach the table. He looked at the box, somewhat interested in seeing what she would have inside. There were a few new good Archfiend's in any deck, so he thought he knew what to expect anyways. He was still interested regardless in a slight sense of the word, so he picked up the box and put it on his side of the table without opening it. Why didn't he open it? Wasn't he just thinking he wanted to see what she was made of right from the get go? There was always a point behind anything he did.
Pulling out his own deck, which was in a small black box with a golden crest on it, he pulled out his own deck. No one would ever see his deck this closely; yet he wasn't even showing her the actual cards. He shifted through his deck of cards like he was playing poker, fast and efficiently until he reached what he wanted. Pulling out a certain card, he put the deck back in the box and back in his jackets pocket.
"What is your knowledge of Yugi?" He said putting his card face down on the table in front of him, "Do you know anything about his ventures and most important battles? I've studied frequently in the past these things, which brings me to loving this card.." he said. Yugi was the Old King of Games, the card he placed on the table?
It made him the New King of Games.

Kiyoko could help but watch her deck box anxiously as RousGAY picked it up, since as she had said, she was very emotionally attached to it. Then, watching as RousGAY pulled out his own deck box and opened it, pulling the deck inside out and shuffling through it until he reached a certain card he wanted, which Kiyoko could only guess the identity of, she then listened to him speak.
He asked her what she knew about Yugi, the first King of Games. To his question, she put her finger to her lip and looked up, “Umm…well, he got his start after defeating Seto Kaiba, who throughout his career would remain his biggest rival. He then got his title after winning the Duelist Kingdom tournament. He next battled in the Battle City tournament, which he eventually won as well, acquiring the Egyptian God Cards that would become the center of his deck in the process due to the Ante rule that was placed on all the matches in it.
After that he remained a public figure and professional duelist for the rest of his life, but sort of retreated from being in the spotlight as much as he had been before, letting other duelists like Jaden Yuki and Zane Trusdale take center stage.”

"Interesting."
He flipped the card over, revealing the Winged Dragon of Ra before the Man in Disguise . It was rare that anyone saw this card, or even got to duel it. It was excessively powerful if you compared it to the other Gods, but it was a card that would stay in his family bloodline forever; if he had anything to say about it. He thought the Man in Disguise would most likely be astounded that he possessed a card with so much history since there aren't any other copies in the entire World, but that's why he wanted to show her. Showing her that card just to see her reaction was more than enough to get a jolly out of RousGAY.
"What do you think of this?"

Needless to say, Kiyoko wasn’t expecting to see one of the most famous cards in all of Duel Monsters. Everyone who played the game, even total noobs had heard of the Egyptian God Cards, and the Winged Dragon of Ra was the strongest of the three. Kiyoko had paid attention to the section of the History class she took at he academy where they studied Yugi, and so knew plenty about his exploits.
There was a wide-eyed expression on Kiyoko’s face showing hos surprised she was, and so, looking up at him after seeing the card and hearing his question, and so after sitting there stunned for a few seconds with her hand hanging kind of limp as she held a few leaves of lettuce along with some spinach, “Uh…um…it’s certainly…impressive.”
In truth, Kiyoko’s own deck possessed some cards famous duelists are known to have used. For example, Dark Necrofear was a card that was known to have been one of the central cards in the deck of Bakura, one of Yugi’s biggest rivals. In addition, many of the Darkness cards in her deck were once used by Nightshroud, who ended up being the ultimate enemy of Jaden Yuki.
Continuing on with her reply, Kiyoko smiled and further elaborated on her feelings, “Uh…I mean, I’ve been in dueling a long time, but I can truly say this is my first time even seeing a card that rare.”

"To say it's rare is being generous." He said, taking bites of his lobster before patting his lips with his napkin,"It's the rarest card in the game next to it's kin, the other Egyptian Gods. Historically in our time, it's one of the most important landmarks in that sense of the word." He continued, giving himself credit for even having the God card.
"Well, I guess I should get to my actual point.." he said before grabbing her own deck box, shifting through the cards in it. Some great things were shown to him; it was an impressive deck,"What is your goal as a duelist.."

A faint smile on her face, Kiyoko only nodded to RousGAY’s words, resuming to eat her salad and fish. Then, on a whim that popped into her head, Kiyoko decided to try and surprise RousGAY with the extent of her knowledge about the Egyptian Gods, in that she had been aware of one of the facts about them that very few people knew, “Indeed, and are you planning to collect the others as well? And then perhaps even acquire their legendary combined form?” The legend Kiyoko was referring to was a of a card so rare that it was completely unknown to most, and that even those few people who had heard of it thought it nothing more than a legend. The card she referenced was The Creator God of Light, Horakhty, a card that could only be summoned by sacrificing all three of the other Egyptian Gods, and once summoned, would outright win you the duel simply on the basis of your successfully having summoned it.
Then, RousGAY asked Kiyoko a question that took her aback a bit, and she suddenly stopped eating after having heard him finish it. Setting her fork down she looked down and mulled RousGAY’s question over quite a bit as she attempted to come up with an adequate answer. Finally, she opened her mouth and replied, “To be honest I’m not entirely sure yet. I’ll probably try to be a Professional Duelist for a time, if I can ever get over my problem with Stage Fright, a bad weakness for a duelist to have, I know. I also just want to travel the world and make friends dueling, as well as help work with finding a way to repay both the game for everything it’s given me, as well as the monsters that I consider my close friends. I’m probably not as ambitious as someone like you, but just enjoying dueling for as long as I can is enough for me.”

"Interesting..you have a better heart than I." He said, slowly standing up from the table and pointing to the upstairs of the restaurant. There was a balcony, and he wanted a little more privacy for the offer he was about to make to her. He took the napkin from his jacket, placing it on the table as he began to speak once more,"Come with me, what I'm going to say shouldn't be said around anyone else besides yourself." He said, offering his hand to Kiyoko as a gentleman would so that she may get up from her seat.
He didn't know if she would really be for it, but it couldn't hurt to ask her. If she declined, then she'd be one to know of his secrecy.. but he trusted her for some reason. Even if she knew, he doubted that she would do anything against him in the first place.
